Parker is a board certified family law specialist and Raleigh native who has practiced in Wake County for more than 25 years. She is a 1975 graduate of the UNC-Chapel Hill and a 1985 graduate of the Wake Forest School of Law. Parker and her husband Steve have three children — two of whom are adopted and one who was born with the help of advanced fertility treatments. She is founder and the managing member of the law firm of Parker Herring Law Group, PLLC.
